The outcome of three successful conducted ETIP Bioenergy Workshops
As previously announced various ETIP Bioenergy workshops took place in the past few months. The FNR as coordinator of the ETIP Bioenergy project held different presentations at these workshops. The following paragraphs will present the outcomes of these very productive and fruitful workshops.
Workshop - Bioenergy towards 2030: needs and opportunities for research and innovation to meet the targets for the next decade: Organized on 16 May 2018 in the framework of the 26th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition in Copenhagen, this event provided a high-level overview on the current policy, market trends and expectations for the future of the bioenergy sector in the European Union.
Workshop - Emerging Technologies: On 4 June 2018 Bioenergy 2020+ and ETIP Bioenergy organized a workshop in Brussels to the state of biofuel technologies at low TRL (Technology Readiness Level).
Workshop - Supporting outset and consolidation of bioenergy value chains in South East Europe: On 3 July 2018, the Central European Initiative, in cooperation with SERBIO, the Serbian Biomass Association, organized a workshop in the framework of the 3rd South East European Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems, in Vojvodina (Serbia).
